A500 Music ......Bringing great live music to The Potteries
A500 Music was formed in 2015 by friends Ian Boyle and Neil Morrey after they decided that the best chance they would have of seeing one of their favourite artists perform locally would be to host a show themselves. So with no particular experience, they booked a village hall, press ganged as many friends to come along as they could and with the help of their families; hosted Milwaukee's Willy Porter in front of a sell out audience. Although this was only supposed to be a 'one off' event, Willy Porter returned 18 months later for what was to be A500's 8th successful show.
We at A500 Music are concert goers ourselves and it is our aim to bring to Stoke on Trent some of the fabulous artists that we would have otherwise had to travel outside the area to see. In doing this, we work hard to make our evenings as special as we can for the audience and the artists themselves. By keeping our overheads as low as possible, providing free hot beverages and by inviting you to bring your own drink instead of paying bar prices, we believe that we are able to provide excellent value for your ticket price.
Because we value the support we get from our audience and want them to be comfortable, we seat them in cabaret style with tables and chairs so that everyone has somewhere to put their drink down. Although we will continue to review what works best, we currently seat people ourselves so that people who buy early are nearer the front but we also strive to keep groups of friends together and will always try to accommodate requests of any kind in this regard. It is our opinion that this also removes the need for people to rush to be early to get their seat of choice.

We do sell tickets online but encourage anyone coming to our shows to book theirs direct with us to avoid paying a booking fee on top of their ticket price. This can be done in person or by contacting us via email, Facebook, or a text/voicemail on our unmanned box office number. If you leave us a short message with your name, a contact number and how many tickets you are looking for, we will always call you back and discuss the different methods of payment available.

In the short time we have been promoting these shows, we have realised that one of the biggest assets we have is our audience and we've met some pretty amazing people through doing this. We hope that if you enjoy our shows, you will spread the word amongst your friends and continue to come along and help us to keep music 'live' in The Potteries.
